GTM Sud-Ouest TP GC is a VINCI Construction subsidiary based in Toulouse and Montpellier. The company operates throughout south-western France and the Occitanie region on civil engineering projects, major projects, nautical works and urban development projects.
In collaboration with SOCOTRAP, a general building contractor, GTM Sud-Ouest TP GC was awarded the contract to fit out the new assembly line in Toulouse.
Key results
The project came with several unique challenges. As a top-tier aerospace company, the highest standards for quality and execution were required, emphasizing the mission-critical nature of the work.This required meticulous documentation and transparent reporting on completed work, especially when modifications were made.
Secondly, delays in assembly line construction can be especially difficult, as every lost day means postponing opening and delaying production. Avoiding this was crucial.

- Delay forecasting and accurate production rate analysis: This helped the consortium shift from a reactive approach to proactive management by identifying issues before they derailed the project. Each subcontractor saved two to three days of planning.
- Detection of issues and errors, and changes to sequences, cadences and due dates: It's estimated that the partners avoided one to two major critical situations each week through early detection.

Streamlined monitoring and reporting: The ‘Explorer’ feature immediately reduced the number of site visits to two per day. Over the six-month duration of the project, the team estimates that they reduced time spent on manual data collection by about 66%.
