Challenge
Mace was overseeing progress of the project using manual processes, from gathering data to running a comparison of the plan vs actual completion. They were looking for ways to enhance their efficiency while keeping the project running smoothly.
Mace was hired to run the project and
construction management of the airport extension. The new pier included eight gates with the aim of increasing the airport's passenger capacity.

By fully automating progress tracking, the AI-based solution showed when a specific job was started and finished while flagging project managers of the activities they were falling behind on. The platform revealed that minor delays were accumulating into a larger issue, which would have been impossible to recognise through manual processes.
Results
With the help of Buildots technology, Mace identified a gap of 4,200 work-hours using automated reports to determine whether tasks had been completed. This empowered project managers to quickly take corrective actions and avoid further delays.
